Turn from the Rulers’ was designed for a t-shirt to carry its message of defiance against corruption and abuse of power. The image of skeletons, representing the decay of the world around us, shows them pushing a ruler’s sword to his neck, reflecting the consequences of his own actions. It’s a reminder that, even in a world ruled by authority, we all have the power to stand up and challenge what’s wrong.
CONCEPT
Depicts a decaying world of skeletons, with a king in fine clothes and a crown symbolizing authority. Surrounded by the flames of justice, the design flips the typical poker card setup, showing the king’s reflection not as his image, but as the result of his actions—righteous skeletons pushing his sword to his neck. It’s a reminder that power will be turned against those who abuse it.
