BURY A FRIEND
This is a lyrics motion graphics project inspired by Billie Eilish's famous song, Burry A Friend, with ink transitions and slash effects that complement the feeling of the song.
WHY
Bury a Friend is a very haunting song with many different rhythms that sums up the dark and mysterious aesthetic of the artist. With a haunting beat and melancholic tone, the song explores themes of anxiety, nightmares and internal struggles that can be expressed through motion graphics where the lyrics, strong fonts and dark aesthetic are the main device to tell a story, with the use of aggressive textures and effects that support the song and give it strength.
CONCEPT
This project is inspired by grunge aesthetics with textures and a limited color palette that reflects danger and mystery, red, white and black with great contrast while maintaining the legibility of the lirycs even with the fast movements.
